If you are located outside of the New Orleans area (Metairie, Kenner, Slidell, Westbank, Covington, etc.), you will have to find transportation to Stop #5 at 501 Basin Street. There is a convenient ParkFirst Public Lot across the street for approximately $10 a day. Rates are subject to change during special events.

There are no stops in Metairie. However, you can drive (your own vehicle, cab or rideshare) to Stop 5 at 501 Basin Street to start your tour!
Yes, you can purchase tickets at any stop. When you get on board, let the driver know you need to purchase tickets and they will send a uniformed staff member to do a ticket check at the next available stop.
No, car seats are not allowed on the Hop-On Hop-Off buses. The buses do not have securement straps to support safely securing a car seat. Children ages 0-2 must sit in the lap of an adult.

We do not publish timetables of our buses, but you can expect buses to arrive to each of the 18 stops every 30 minutes or less from 9:30am – 5:30pm! Hop-On Any Bus at Any Stop by 4:00pm to experience the complete loop.

Does this bus go to the Zoo?
No, our Hop-On Hop-Off buses do not go to the Zoo.
However, if you Hop-Off at Stop 14 and jump on the St. Charles Street car towards the Mississippi River, the Streetcar line stops in front of Audubon Park at the “St Charles at Tulane/Loyola” stop. You will see the formal entrance to Audubon Park on St. Charles Avenue across the street from Tulane University and Loyola University New Orleans. Once you exit the Streetcar, you can reach the Zoo by walking through Audubon Park and following the circular jogging path in either direction until you reach the Magazine Street side of the Park, where you will cross Magazine Street to reach the Zoo at 6500 Magazine Street.
All double-decker vehicles are handicapped accessible, with electronic ramps as well as 1 or more securement locations on the lower-deck. Look for the internationally recognized Wheelchair Accessible sticker on the front of the bus and near the entrance door.

The most convenient parking is across the street from Stop 5 – Basin St. Station (501 Basin Street). Approximately $10 for a full day of parking. Rates are subject to change during special events.

Yes, the buses are climate controlled and have A/C in the warmer months and heat in the colder months.
You do not need physical tickets if you book in advance. You can use the voucher provided at the time of booking with the QR code to present to the driver upon boarding the bus.
Your ticket is valid 24, 48, or 72 hours after you first hop-on the bus. So, if you purchased a 1-day ticket and got on the bus today at 10:30am today, it would expire at 10:30am tomorrow.
Garden District and French Quarter Walking Tours are on a first come, first serve basis. Tour times are at 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, or 3pm any day your Hop-On Hop-Off pass is valid. The 2-Day ticket includes the Garden District Walking Tour and the 3-Day ticket includes the Garden District and French Quarter Walking Tours.
Please check in for your Creole Queen cruise at least 30 minutes prior to your tour departure time.

What restaurants are included on the Magazine Street Foodie Tour?
The typical menu includes beef, pork, seafood/shellfish, and vegetables. Because we love anticipation (and because the tour may change on a given day due to restaurant closures/changes), we do not release where we go or what we eat –– except to say that it’s all wonderful!
Unless you purchase a combo package such as a Hop-On Hop-Off + St. Louis Cemetery No. 1 or Hop-On Hop-Off + Vue Orleans package, your Hop-On Hop-Off ticket does not include access to other attractions in New Orleans. You can purchase tickets to many of the most popular attractions along our route by visiting our “Tours & Attractions” page or with one of our sales team members.

Buses arrive at each stop every 30 minutes or less between 9:30am – 5:30pm. The bus stays there long enough to get all passengers disembarked and boarded safely and efficiently before continuing the tour route.

To receive the senior discount, guests must be 65+ years old.

If you have pre-paid for your tickets, you do not have to redeem them at a ticket office. You can Hop-On Any Bus at Any Stop by showing your QR code! The driver will scan your code and your redemption period will begin!
The ride from Stop 1 to Stop 5 is about 20 minutes. Please allow for a little extra time in the cases there is traffic or road closures.

The Official Walking Tour of St. Louis Cemetery No. 1 is a 55-Minute Tour that takes you beyond the iron the gates, on the winding paths of the oldest extant cemetery in New Orleans. Reservations are highly recommended.

The St. Charles Streetcar Line runs near Stops 9, 10, 14, and 15. The Rampart Streetcar Line runs near Stop 8, 5, 4, and 3. The Canal Streetcar Line runs near Stops 6, 7, and 18. The Riverfront Streetcar Line runs near Stops 1, 2, 16, 17, and 18.
Most RTA bus transfers service near all 18 stops.
It is recommended to download the “Le Pass App” for tickets and timetables for all RTA services in New Orleans.
All of our combo packages including a Hop-On Hop-Off Tour and another tour (such as the Creole Queen, WWII Museum, etc.) are already discounted 15-20% off of the retail rates of all inclusions in the package.
If you need to get back to downtown from the Garden District, the last departure is at 5pm at Stop 12.
