Cemetery Tour Hosts are locally licensed and specially trained to offer the most accurate and complete tours of the cemetery on behalf of New Orleans Catholic Cemeteries. Walking along a meandering path, you will see the tombs of Voodoo Queen Marie Laveau, historic figure Homer Plessy, former Mayors of the City of New Orleans, and many other notable characters in New Orleans’ marvelous history. On the 55-minute walking tour, you will learn the fascinating history of New Orleans’ unique burial customs and walk up-close among the amazing above-ground crypts and below-ground sites. Photography along the way is encouraged.

MEET YOUR TOUR GUIDES
French Quarter & Garden District Guided Walking Tours depart hourly at 11am-3pm on any day your ticket is valid. Tours are available on a First-Come, First-Serve basis. Please be sure to check in with a City Sightseeing New Orleans agent inside of the ticket office (700 Decatur Street) for the French Quarter Walking Tour and under the red tent at Stop 12 (2727 Magazine Street) for the Garden District Walking Tour.
The St. Louis Cemetery Walking Tour starts inside of Basin St. Station, (Hop-On Hop-Off Stop 5, 501 Basin Street). Tours depart promptly so please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time for checking-in with a Cemetery Tour sales agent, receiving your wristbands, and readying to leave!
All tours are ADA accessible and stroller friendly!
